My last picture of Download for now, this is the view I had of the stage for Metallica, not bad since I only got there 20 minutes before they came on and most other people had been waiting for them for about an hour and a half, also one of my favourite inages of the day, the sky juxtaposed with the stage looked so cool. I'd put up the shot of the crowd I have (70,000 people) put it didn't come out very well I'm afraid.

well I've spent like 2 hours trying to fix the code of the blog (it has 170 warnings, but no actualy HTML errors) and I haven't really managed to do much at all cos I know bugger all about HTML coding and I'm just learning from trial by error.
Went bowling with the guys tonight, it was well funny, I have a different kind of laugh with them compared to with the guys at uni, not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just different.
I've had viruses and spyware to contend with over the past couple of days, I've pretty much fixed it, but I'm still having to make do with a dodgy internet explorer, may have to re-install unless it gets more stable.

e now ,and isn't that all that counts
ok, so i didn't check in on saturday, but I'm here now and isn't that all that matters.
I turned my drive back into a bit of a clarkson-esque challenge, to get home on half a tank of petrol. With some very defensive driving I managed to do it on just 3/8 of a tank of petrol, and using my maths skills I have worked that out to be 51.2 miles to the gallon!!!! that's right 51.2
England's loss left me in a daze last night, so I decided I'd stay up and watch the Lakers play in the Finals against Detroit, so I was up until 5A.M an they lost, but I still believe my boys can bring it back even though no team has ever come back from 3-1 down in an NBA finals series, but if we get it back to L.A. then anything can happen.
So both my teams lost last night, if anything happens to Newcastle then I just don't know what I'll do.
I'm currently using the desktop computer at home, and that doesn't have the Hello software on it so I can't post picturs yet, but they'll be up soon when I sort out all my stuff.

this may well be my last blog from Leicester for this academic year, I intend to go home on satruday when hopefully the roads will be quiet, that is unless I'm given a reason to stay a little while longer (particularly a cute brown haired reason, and I don't mean a cat).
Went to see the Day After Tomorrow last night with Louise, it was pretty good, but kinda cliched, really good effects though.
Went to Tiggs with Duncan on Tuesday, we had a good night, but it was way too hot in Pulse, so we couldn't really dance or do anything, that and I was felling 'ill' after starting drinking at 3:30.
Gonna go to Fan Club tonight, it's 60s and 70s music night, which was cool last time.
Cya saturday guys, and one more thing, whats with the little jump in popularilty of the blog, I mean bam!

Download was awesome, despite the world trying to stop it being good.
We set off at 10:30 and it took us until 13:13 to get into the festival, this is way too long considering that it's a 35 minute drive to the site if there was no traffic. We were queueing on the motorway there was that much traffic.
I didn't really spend all that much time with the guys becuase they just wanted to watch the main stage, but I wanted to see the whole thing, so I went to the Barfly and Game On tents as well.
The bands I saw were (possibly in order of appearance):
We heard Ill Nino finishing their set as we were walking in
Turbonegro
Random NY band in the Barfly tent who no one knew the name of
Soulfly
Hatebreed
Machine Head
Do Me Bad Things
Amplifier
Slipknot
Recover (who were awesome)
Dirty Americans (who were very stoned)
Korn (well, one song before I moved on)
Slayer (egomaniacal bastards that they are)
Taking Back Sunday (who were my favourite band there but had their 40 minute set cut to 5 songs cos Slayer took up their time)
Metallica (who turned up an hour and a half late, without Lars, so they had to have Joey from Slipknot, Ben from slayer and their roadie to the drumming, which meant a cut down set)
14 bands in 12 hours, thats not bad going considering I sat at the Snickers soul bowl for ages where I saw Matt Hoffman, and one of the guys from Dirty Sanchez.
Upon leaving it took us one and a half hours to get out of the car park and then 35 mins to get home, woohoo British organisation!!!!!
I'll put up pictures when I get home and can use the photoblogging service on my laptop.

well my British politics exam didn't go that bad after all, there wasn't exactly any questions I liked on it, but it could have been worse and I did end up writing for almost all of the 2 hours, so I must have had sometihng to say.
I've been arty again, putting up more stuff on my deviantart and I've even made a new little avatar, and made as website button so that I can advertise with pictures rather than words.
Went out on Thrusday, met Louise.
Rob, Richard Matt and I are gonna trip it up to Download tomorrow, to see the mighty Metallica, its really annoying though cos HIM are playing at the same time, so I'm gonna have to miss them, even though I like their stuff (not enough to buy goth music, but I like it nevertheless). But I will get to see Taking Back Sunday, who I've wanted to see for a while. Kinda wish were were going today instead though, since more bands I like are playing today, but I guess I could hardly go on my own though.
Big brother is ruining my sleep patterns, I don't think I've missed one of the live shows on 4 yet, even though they usually finish around 2.

I hate 'the making of british politics from 1865 to 1945' I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, and the exam is in less than 20 hours.
This will probably be my toughest exam of the three, unless I get very lucky with the questions, so I'll be cramming late into the night, just trying to get those extra facts and figures in.

I've been going a bit mad with the art recently, it keeps me away from the revision at least.
So get your ass over to deviantArt now (link on the left I do believe).
Also, I wanted to encourage people to get positng on the photo hole again, it appears to have slowed down from the freight train pace it was enjoying, especially as we have added 3 new members who haven't even said hi, like who'd go to the effort of joining a group and then not even bother being involved.
